Lakeside Greens Golf Course Preservation Society consists of golfers, homeowners and residents of Chestermere who share a common interest,
opinion and goal regarding any future Lakeside Golf Club Course rezoning or development plans.
We have come together as a unified voice to represent the community of Chestermere.
As a not for profit organization and society, our main source of funding is through financial contributions. All of the financial contributions provided go directly towards costs related to fighting to protect our green space and recreation. Some examples are, funding for promotional materials, signs, brochures, billboards, awareness campaigns, website fees, legal council and representation.
None of the funds go towards the members of the board as compensation, or for expenses incurred (such as gas, food, beverages). All activities conducted by individual board members (including meeting expenses) are out of pocket for the board members; As well as, time and efforts that are on a volunteer basis.
Any financial or gifted funds remaining when we choose to disband the society or achieve our objectives will be donated back into the community and to local non-profits.
If you would like additional information on contributions/financials and where the funds are allocated, please contact us.
